Glass South America is the glass industry's most important biennial event in Latin America, with a focus on technology and design for the civil construction, architecture, furniture and automotive industry.
The trade show will show the latest novelty in technology and application of glass and accessories. Brazilian GDP will have an increase by USD 671 billion up to 2020, which is equivalent to the sum of all the wealth generated now in Central America and the Caribbean and other countries of South America.
In 2017, the construction is expected to have 2.5% growth and, the following year, that figure should reach 7%. The evidence of positive expectations comes with net revenues of BRL 312 billion of industry representing 9% Brazilian GDP.
The automotive industry had BRL 315,000,000 sale in 2014. Investment in this industry between 1994 and 2012, was BRL 217 billion. Its share in the GDP of the country represents 20.4%. With growth resumption forecast, the companies can expect better times and business in Brazil.
